6 things I’m loving right now.

I am no iNfLuEnCeR (nor will I ever be), but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t gush about my obsessions with everyone I come across. Whether it’s my bestie, my book club ladies, or the mom behind me in the grocery store line, I can go on and on about my favorite cookware (Caraway) or brand of sparkling water (Spindrift).

I mean, what’s the point of loving something if you can’t proudly declare your love to whoever will listen? Sharing is caring, my friends, especially when there are discounts involved. And I’ve got a lot to recommend these days, so let’s hop to it.

Nuuly

A classy dress for date night.

This is the first on my list because it’s the one I’m most excited to share—which is unusual for me, because I don’t typically get excited about buying new clothes. Ninety percent of the garments in my closet have been there since 2015. That’s why I was intrigued when I heard about Nuuly, a subscription clothing rental service that lets you pick and choose what you want from 150+ brands, including Anthropologie, Free People, and Urban Outfitters for a small monthly fee.

The appeal: Instead of dropping hundreds of bucks on one cocktail dress or pair of jeans, you only spend $88 per month for six different items of clothing, which you wear as much as you want until the 30 days are up. Genius for a commitment-phobe like me! It also came in clutch for Scott’s holiday work party, when I needed a formal evening gown and did not have the time to visit a department store or the money to spend on something I’d probably never wear again.

This is only my third month of using Nuuly, and I’m already hooked. The variety of styles is impressive, the sizing is inclusive, and the process is easy-as-pie. (Use this link for $10 off your first month.)

Wild Pastures

I raved about this company on Instagram back in 2022, and my obsession is still going strong. As a holistic nutrition consultant, I’m very passionate about where my food is sourced. Animal products (meat, eggs, dairy, and seafood) are amongst the most nutrient-dense foods we can consume, but how they’re treated and what they’re fed during their lifetime matters. That’s where Wild Pastures comes in!

WP is network of highly principled farmers who utilize regenerative farming practices to raise healthy animals in a way that is beneficial to the environment. All of their animals are 100% pasture-raised and grass-fed, as nature intended, so you never have to worry about the quality of the protein on your plate. My favorite thing on their list of offerings is the whole chicken, which I cook up in my CrockPot and shred for easy dinner recipes. It also makes amazing bone broth!

And, despite what you might assume, the subscription will not cost you an arm and a leg. (Especially if you utilize this link.) I love that you can customize your cart between deliveries and only get your shipment when you need it. Bon appétit!

Kossma Beauty

I’m a newbie to Kossma, but I know a handful of ladies in the pro-metabolic space that swear by this natural skincare line for radiant, healthy skin. There are thousands of “natural” beauty companies out there, but natural doesn’t always mean nontoxic or even beneficial—especially when the main ingredients are seed oils and essential oils, both of which can be irritating and even harmful to the skin. (Follow @kossmabeauty on Instagram if you want to learn more about this!)

What sets Kossma apart is its commitment to using high quality animal fats, low-PUFA oils, and whole plant extracts that “provide bioactive nutrients such as vitamins A, D, E, and K, as well as balanced fatty acid profiles that nourish and beautify the skin.” The Kossma Beauty Method is simple: After cleansing, you use a tiny amount of serum to deliver actives to the skin, spritz a hydrosol to soothe and hydrate, apply your moisturizer and (optionally) a balm to lock it all in. So far, I’ve tried their Butter Cleansing Oil, Purely Potent Vitamin C Serum, Marshmallow Malva Hydrosol Elixir, Tallow Balm (I don’t know how I ever lived without this!), and Pearl Micro-Exfoliant. All I will say? Beautycounter has some competition, y’all.

Lola Feminine Care

Not the sexiest thing on the list, but self-care isn’t always fun. And when it comes to being a woman, period products are one of the most necessary forms of self-care there is. I love Lola because their pads and tampons are made with organic cotton—I ain’t about chemicals and pesticides near my bajingo—and their subscription service is incredibly easy and hassle-free. (No more panicked trips to Walgreens in the middle of the night!) I also just recently purchased their Period Underwear as a backup; I’m still too mess-averse to try their menstrual cup, but maybe that’ll be my next adventure. (This link gets you $5 off.)

EvolveYou Fitness

I’m proud to announce that ya girl is fiiiiinally exercising on a regular basis again…and it’s all because of one lovely little fitness app. Created by Personal Trainer Krissy Cela in 2019 to help women build strength and confidence, the award-winning EvolveYou app offers a variety of training programs—from yoga to HIIT—so you can choose the one that best suits your fitness level and goals.

I’m currently working my way through Commit Low-Impact, an 8-week strength training and conditioning program that I can do at home three days a week while my kids are napping. The 25-minute workouts are an appropriate length and perfect amount of challenging for someone like me who is just getting back into fitness after having a baby (16 months ago, whoops!), but what really sold me was the beautifully designed and user-friendly app. It’s way better than any I’ve seen so far, and I actually look forward to pulling it up on my phone before each sweat session. (Aesthetic matters!)

I pay about $16 per month, a fee that’s worth it to me during this busy season to maintain my mental and physical health. But if or when I tire of it, I can always cancel my subscription—a nice plus for those of us that get bored and like to change things up often.

Explorer Cold Brew

It doesn’t matter the season, I will always opt for cold brew (with cream) as my coffee beverage of choice. In fact, I’m sipping on a glass of nitro right now. The downside? Cold brew is typically much more caffeinated than a regular cuppa joe, and all that buzzin’ can make a girl feel cray.

I tried making my own decaf at home when I was pregnant with Ayla, but it just never tasted as bold and delicious as my regular coffee shop brew. It wasn’t for another year and a half that I would discover Explorer, a company that sells delicious cold brew concentrate in a range of caffeine levels—including low-caf, my personal favorite. With only 50 mg of caffeine per 2 oz. serving (which can be mixed with milk or water), now I can sip to my heart’s content without experiencing those all-too-familiar heart palpitations. I’ll cheers to to that.

P.S. Their Variety Travel Box makes the perfect gift for coffee lovers! I actually purchased this as a White Elephant gift for my family Christmas party last year just so I could steal it back. (Get $10 off with that link.)
