simple pleasures in the middle of january:

+ late night wine and snacks with @the.elizabethikard.

2026 is my year of choosing joy. not just waiting for it to happen, but actively seeking it out everywhere i look. and to hold myself accountable, i’m going to document it. welcome to my journal of the things that i delighted in this week:

slowly piecing together my 2025 year-in-review for the blog, and this photo of the kids with st. nick is for sure in my top five. πŸŽ…πŸΌ
grapevine’s @talkinganimalsbooks has got me dreaming about starting my own bookstore in downtown frisco again. maybe in 2026…? i love the witchy vibes and soon-to-be coffee bar in this one, and of course mine would have to include wine.
