The time has arrived, my friends: the week of All Hallows Eve. Pumpkins are scattered on the neighbor's front porch, candy corn is taking over the aisles at CVS, and you're just now scrounging around for a last-minute costume. I wish I could say that I have mine all ready and waiting for the big night (like last year), but I'm not sure I'll even be wearing a costume this year. Red and I were planning on dressing up and hitting one of the nicer neighborhoods around Austin for some trick-or-treatin'—don't laugh, you know it's what the cool kids do—until I realized that Halloween is on a Wednesday. And what do I have on Wednesdays? My late class. Sigh. But I've already done enough complaining on this blog to last a lifetime, so...  I'll just cut to the chase. In my almost nonexistent free time, I've scoured the internet looking for the cutest, coolest, and most creative Halloween costumes out there, and I am placing my findings here to serve as inspiration for all of you who love this holiday as much as I do! Excited yet?

(Keep in mind that my small collection of winning photos consists of a mixture of age groups, including wee little babes. Because even if the costumes themselves aren't practical for college students, they're still awesomely adorable, and should therefore still count.)
