Rewind: 2010.

12.30.2010
Memorable moments throughout my year:

[Marissa and I toasted not only to a new year, but to a new decade as well.]

[I hosted a Valentine's Day Sleepover for a few of the girls.  The next morning, my mom surprised us with a bountiful breakfast of pancakes and fruit.]

[The entire month was devoted to UIL One-Act Play Competitions.  This picture was taken at Zone, our first real performance of Blood Wedding.  To calm our nerves, we fought bubble wars and played card games.]

[Mallory and I were bouncing off the walls at my little Glee party.  I don't know about you, but I thought the premier with Jonathan Groff was epic.]

 May
[Prom was fun and all, but the real highlight of my May was the road trip that I took with my dad to Colorado.]

[This might have been my favorite month of all, with our high school graduation and the Tomball STAGE's journey to Nebraska back-to-back.]

[And then came the most relaxing month.  I got to swim with this sweet dolphin on the Caribbean Cruise to Jamaica, Cozumel, and the Cayman Islands.  I'm thinking that a summer vacation with my two life-long best friends should become an annual thing.]

[With the help of my family, I packed up all of my belongings and moved into my dorm room at the University of Texas in Austin.  This photo was taken on my first night on my own.]

[Two weeks later, my parents also changed locations.  Goodbye, small town.  Hello, big city.]

[Lula and I enjoyed listening to so many talented musicians at the Austin City Limits Music Festival.]

[My family and I saw the musical production of How the Grinch Stole Christmas in Houston.  Afterwards, Jason and I helped our parents decorate the Christmas tree.]

[Coming home for the holidays has given me a deeper appreciation of the time that I have to spend with those closest to me.  This Christmas was one of the best.]

Needless to say, I have been so incredibly blessed this year.
(2011 has some big shoes to fill.)
