On Saturday, my close friend Taylor planned the perfect outing for me and him. First, he took me to the original Carrabba's downtown, where we had the most delicious pasta dishes. Then, he surprised me with tickets to the Houston Ballet's performance of La Fille Mal Gardée! It was absolutely incredible, and I am impressed to say that he sat through the entire two hours and fifteen minutes without one complaint of it being boring or too long. Honestly, how many guys would do that for a friend? Afterwards, we made one last stop at The Chocolate Bar (my Heaven), where we enjoyed a cappuccino cream, frozen hot chocolate, and a cup of hot coffee (I admit it, I'm addicted). It's lovely evenings like these that make me realize how blessed I am to have such great friends. The ballet was wonderful, but our conversations were what made the night really special and completely worth my while.
